2025 was a great year for my Mobile Mardi Gras Weekend Party. The weather was chilly, but not too bad. I had rooms 10 and 11 in the Fort Conde Inn. April and Dan got a room in the main house thanks to Wes having some cancellations from his group (Wes has a girlfriend now, Jenny; and we are waiting to hear of an engagement). My two rooms were full with Momma and Jimmy, Troy and Polly and Kevin. Olivia and Zoey stayed Saturday night in April and Dan's room. Brendan and Kayla showed up briefly Saturday and Sunday, but they had a ball in Daphne Saturday night, so they stayed with Kayla's high school girlfriends. Kelsy, Matt and their kids could not make it this year. They had just gotten back from a Carnival Cruise out of New Orleans, so Matt needed to get back for work. I do not think anyone else showed up Friday, Saturday or Sunday - I think I'll invite fewer people next year. Maybe just to people who have actually made an appearance over the years.
